Cleo Hassett, a 27 year old senior direct distributor from Kilmihil, Co. Clare first
met John Normoyle, 36, a plasterer also from Kilmihil, Co.Clare in their local
pub The Fiddle Head over seven and a half years ago. Sparks were flying on that
faithful night and the rest as they say, is history. The pair now live together
with their two children, Oisín and Fía.

After many years and two
beautiful children together, John decided to propose to the woman of his dreams
on Christmas morning. Cleo was busy preparing and cooking when she turned
around and to her surprise, her son Oisín was holding an etch a sketch which
read mammy will you marry daddy.

John was
on one knee behind him, holding the ring.

The
wedding date was set for March 12, 2016 with the ceremony taking place in St.
Michaels Church, Kilmihil, Co. Clare, followed by a reception in The Armada
Hotel in Spanish Point.
Wedding
preparations were swiftly underway as Cleo took a trip to Milltown Malbay and
found the dress of her dreams in The Bridal Emporium, after trying on way too
many. This is also where she bought her veil. After
sending out invitations, printed by McNamaras Printers,

Shannon,
to two hundred and ten of their friends and family, all that was left for the
couple to do was to say, I do!

The
couples two children were involved in their special day. Their daughter, Fía
was one of the flower girls and their son, Oísin was the pageboy. Both children
walked down the aisle with personalised signs that were made by The Little Post
Box.

Not only
did Johns brother, Barry, travel all the way from Perth in Australia to join
the couple on their big day, he also gave a great speech. The couple are
heading to Australia themselves on their honeymoon in November. The day
after the wedding John and Cleo relaxed with their children and had a big shin
dig in their local bar later that night.

Cleo said
if she were to give any advice for brides planning a wedding it would be, Dont
stress out everything really does fall into place in the end and take in the
whole day because its over in a flash.
