“I put a remembrance table at the top of the church near us
with a picture of my deceased parents, a candle and two single white roses. I
also had a brooch pinned into my bouquet with pictures of my parents and my
aunt. I felt it was a lovely comforting gesture to have those remembrance
touches. We also had a fun caricature painting of us for the guestbook well wishes by
Ralph McMahon Caricatures,” the bride shared.
Walking up the aisle and seeing a church full of our family and close friends that came from near and far. It was the most incredible and special feeling in my life to see everyone there in one room,” Laura said.
HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE LISTOWEL ARMS HOTEL?
The Listowel Arms is an absolutely wonderful hotel for a wedding or any special occasion. We could not have asked for a more amazing location to host our wedding reception. We had guests from all over Ireland as well as overseas who continue to rave about our special day. It’s
never easy organising something like your wedding from overseas. We were
living in Australia but from the onset Patrice, the wedding co-ordinator, was on the ball and exactly got our brief. Everything from the professional friendly staff to the five- star meal at the
reception. I could not have asked for a more wonderful experience and thank you
to Patrice and all the hardworking staff that made our day so special. We will
always feel so welcome there.
