Introducing Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2019 into your wedding theme
By Michaela Keating
Each year, Pantone Colour Institute releases its colour of the year and this year, ‘Living Coral’ is having its moment. The perfect hue for a spring-time wedding, we’re showing you how to incorporate this vibrant tone into your day.
Floral coral
Often a popular injection of colour in spring brides’ bouquets, a pop of coral in your floral arrangements can be a stunning way to brighten up your aesthetic. Think bold blooming peonies or rosebuds to add that explosion of colour to your look.
Cake pop
For your wedding cake, think colour infusions on a clean white canvas for the perfect way to jazz up a minimalist vibe. A watercolour design is also a great way to put a modern spin on your cake and be bang on trend with some coral colouring.
Darling décor
Injecting some colour into your décor and table setting is a great way to personalise your day. Add some vibrancy to your table runners or centre pieces or add dainty touches to your menu scrolls with coral ribbon for a delicate threading of colour throughout your day.
Blushing bridesmaids
Check out the stock in some of your local bridesmaid suppliers for the perfect coral shade for your fabulous bridesmaids to work on your wedding day. A floaty fabric will add that romantic element to their look while they rock the colour of the year.
