Planning your wedding can be a very stressful time. There is so much that needs to get done that it can be difficult to remember it all. Here are a few tips and tricks that will be helpful for keeping you organised and will make the planning process as stress free as possible.
Before you begin it is important to estimate the length of your engagement and have a rough idea of the date you are planning. In doing this you can begin to create a timeline, so you have a timeframe of when everything needs to be done. This will also double as a check list for all the jobs that need to be done between now and the big day.
Documents and legalities
Sometimes the most important things are the things we don’t think about. To legally be married there are steps you must take. It is important to access the information on the requirements needed for your marriage and get these out of the way as soon as possible so you can move on to the fun stuff!
Keep it together
When planning, it is crucial that all your ideas, bills, receipts, brochures, vendors, guest list and so on are all together in one place, so when you need to make an emergency call a wedding vendor about prices or ideas you know exactly where to find your info. This will save time and prevent losses. If you want to go into Monica from Friends mode, create a binder with all of your wedding details for each section of your day; legal paperwork, supplier deposit receipts, booking confirmations and appointments and you’ll be sure not to miss a trick!
